Why India
India is the world's 7th largest coffee producer.
Almost none of its best lots reach specialty buyers abroad.
Indian coffee grows under ancient forest canopy alongside jackfruit, silver oak, and wild fruit trees. The shade slows ripening, concentrates sugars, and produces cups with a depth of fruit character you don't find anywhere else.
A new generation of estate owners and Q-Graders are running controlled fermentation trials, sequencing microbial cultures, and producing lots that hold their own against the best from Ethiopia or Colombia.
India hasn't carved out a name for itself on the global specialty map. The infrastructure, the science, and the raw material are all there. The narrative isn't. We're here to change that.

Our Story
The Gaur is the largest wild bovine on earth. It lives deep in the forests of the Western Ghats, the same highlands where India's finest coffee grows. You rarely see one. When you do, you stop.
White Hoof & Co. was built on that same instinct: to find the things worth stopping for. India grows extraordinary coffee. Most of it never leaves the country. We started this to change that: to bring the best and rarest of India to the world, with full traceability and nothing lost in translation.
Always in CAD, always local first. Canadians shouldn't have to deal with US importers or currency headaches to get great Indian coffee. We're here, and we show up for local.
There's a single unbroken chain between the cup and the estate. It carries not just the coffee, but the stories of everyone along the way.
Unforgiving commitment to quality. We only bring coffees we're proud of, and we're here to reshape the narrative of Asia in the coffee story. We work with the country's top Q-Graders, educators, and coffee scientists to make sure we're at the frontier of quality and innovation.
We invest in and maintain long-term personal relationships with our roasters, growers, and everyone along the way. If you already work with us, you know this is true. Our philosophy of growing is the same as a coffee plant: slow and sustainable.
